The highest and largest volcano in Europe
Etna is an active volcano that erupts in close periods starting usually with a degassing and emission of volcanic ash which is followed by an emission of magma.
Currently we recognized four craters: Central, Bocca Nuova North-East and South-East craters and there are effusive activity at lower altitudes with the opening of new craters.
With the passing of the years, Mount Etna has been shown to be among the world's most active volcano, being periodically affected by spectacular eruptions that are safe for the city and the people.
